Former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa was allowed to travel abroad from 20 to 30 April by Colombo Fort Magistrate Thilina Gamage.
The Counsel appeared on behalf of Rajapaksa and requested the Magistrate to grant permission for his client to travel abroad between 20 to 30 April to attend a summit in South Korea.
The Court had earlier issued an order preventing former Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, MP Namal Rajapaksa, and 15 others from leaving the country regarding the mob attack that took place at Temple Trees and Galle Face on 9 May 2022.
