“Everything happens for best”: Pavithra

Former Health Minister Pavithra Wanniarachchi who was appointed as the Minister of Transport today (16) said that the new appointment was completely unexpected and she was not aware of the move until the last minute.

Bidding farewell to the Health Ministry, Wanniarachchi said she thinks that everything happens for the best to make up her mind.

She requested the officials to give their full support to the new minister Keheliya Rambukwella.

“While preparing to go to the Presidential Secretariat today (16) I told the officials that I might get a new appointment and they also said that would not happen. I did not expect this and was not aware of it until the last minute. Now I try to make up my mind thinking that everything happens for the best. We have to embrace everything in life happily,” she said.
