A record breaking 118 COVID-19 deaths were reported on Monday, increasing the total COVID-19 death toll to 5340.
According to the Department of Government Information, 101 victimes were aged over 60 years. Rest of the victims were reported from the age group 30 – 59.
This is the second consecutive day in which COVID-19 death toll exceeded 100.
