A program to provide 2000 new three-wheelers to the Sri Lanka Police was inaugurated by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday (01).
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday symbolically handed over 2000 three wheelers to the Sri Lanka Police for strengthening the concept of community policing, crime prevention and drug prevention.
The government has spent over Rs. 829 million on these duty free three wheelers.
