Two individuals were arrested for assaulting two PHIs attached to the Dickwella MOH in Kondeniya, Dickwella, Police Spokesman SDIG Ajith Rohana said.
He said that the duo had assaulted the PHIs when the officials were engaging in quarantining a group of residents at a house after a man died of COVID-19.
The suspects have been remanded until August 23.
