Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) Chairman M.M.C. Ferdinando tendered his resigned today (26), after the removal of Susantha Perera from Acting General Manager post yesterday (25).
In a letter to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa, Ferdinando stated that he would resign from the post from 1 February as a result of a personal reason.
Ferdinando also came under fire of CEB Engineers’ Union following the appointment of Susantha Perera. He was also criticized for sign the controversial Yugadanavi deal as a witness for both US company and Sri Lankan Government.
