Pushpika de Silva has been stripped off the crown of Mrs. Sri Lanka 2021 by the pageant’s National Director Chandimal Jayasinghe last evening (08).
Jayasinghe, in a statement said that the decision was reached after serious misconducts carried out by de Silva in recent times.
After the Mrs. World 2021 pageant, Pushpika de Silva placed under hotwater after she claimed she won the fourth place of the pageant. However, the organisers of the World pageant declined her statement.
Following that, de Silva levelled a series of allegations against former Mrs. World Rosy Senanayake and Chandimal Jayasinghe. She alleged that there was a conspiracy against her during the world pageant and due to that she lost the Mrs. World Crown.
Both Chandimal Jayasinghe and Rosy Senanayake sent Letters of Demands for the ‘damages’ caused by de Silva’s allegetions. Apart from that famous media person Dhanu Innasithamby also sent a Letter of Demand to de Silva following alleged threats of her after Innasithamby carroed out an interview with Rosy Senanayake on the matter.
