The Editor of the Thamilan Tamil language newspaper requested the IGP today (12) to commence an inquiry over an incident in which two persons who claimed to be from CID coming into his apartment complex, seeking him.
In a letter to the IGP, he said that the alleged incident happened at 2.30 a.m. today.
The two individuals claimed that they were from the CID and sought a meeting with me. They had waited at the apartment complex I live for a long time, seeking a meet. When the security guard refused to let them in, they had left after speaking in threaterning manner, he said.
He said that the alleged incident scared both his family and other residents at the apartment complex. I even have suspicions whether someone tries to harm me posing as CID, he said.
