A total of 156 COVID-19 deaths have been reported in Sri Lanka on Wednesday (11), Department of Government Information announced yesterday.
Accordingly, more than 100 deaths were reported for 4th consecutive day and this is the first time the death toll exceeded 150.
With the new number, the total COVID-19 death count stands at 5620.
Out of 156, 121 deaths are reported from senior citizen category which is over 60 years while 35 deaths are belong to 30 – 59 age category.
